How to delete your Beacon account

If you’d like to delete your Beacon account and the data associated with it, you can do so at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data.

Delete your account from within the app

  1. Open the Beacon app on your phone.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm your decision.

Your deletion request is processed immediately. Your account becomes inaccessible right away, and your data is fully removed from our active systems within 30 days.

If you can’t access the app

If you’ve uninstalled Beacon, lost access to your phone, or are unable to sign in for any reason, email us at privacy@beaconhelps.com from the email address associated with your Beacon account. Include “Account deletion request” in the subject line. We’ll verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.

Encrypted backups containing your data may persist for up to 30 days after deletion before being permanently purged from our backup systems. After 30 days, no copy of your data remains in any Beacon system.
